A Dark Chocolate cake layered with Malt frosting, frosted in Ganache and covered in Fondant. This cake was sculpted to resemble an old diary of a girl who is celebrating the last of her twenties; lying open on her coffee table.The pages of the diary take her back to a set of messages from her close friends from her college days scribbled amidst scraps of the logos of their favorite eateries & a painting of the hostel they resided. All the elements of the cake have been created from Gumpaste & handpainted in edible colors.The messages have been painted by hand in edible paint. Made for Pearl on her birthday as requested by her husband Hansel Fonseca.
